When I launch my version 4.0 Palo Alto Software program I get a Run-time Error -2147319779 (8002801d).

Updating the MDAC files for Windows
- Go to the appropriate Microsoft Web site:
For Windows 95, 98, NT4: MDAC 2.5 SP3
For Windows ME, 2000: MDAC 2.6 SP2
For Windows XP: MDAC 2.8 SP1
- Once there, select the English version of the file from the list, and click Go to Download.
- Choose the Save to Disk option, and at the Save As, under Save In: choose Desktop - the top choice.
- After the download is complete, close all programs.
- Double click the downloaded file to update your Microsoft Data Access controls.
- Restart your computer.
- After the computer has restarted, open Business Plan Pro and try to open a sample plan.
If the problem persists, hit CTL+ALT+Delete and Close Business Plan Pro.
Now take the following steps to change the Temp directory:
- Launch the program
- In the Welcome Screen, click on the Preferences button
- Click on the Directory Preferences tab
- Beside the Temporary Directory, click the Browse button
- Navigate to and single click on the Temp folder in C:\Windows\ (or C:\Winnt for Windows NT or 2000)
- Click OK once the Temp folder is highlighted and then click Save to Save the changes
If the problem does persist, please follow these instructions:
- Click Start, Run, and type the following:
regsvr32 vsthes6.ocx
The system should display "DllRegisterServer in vsthes6.ocx succeeded" - Click Start, Run, and type the following:
regsvr32 vsflex6.ocx
The system should display "DllRegisterServer in vsflex6.ocx succeeded" - Click Start, Run, and type the following:
regsvr32 vsview6.ocx
The system should display "DllRegisterServer in vsview6.ocx succeeded" - Click Start, Run, and type the following:
regsvr32 vsocx6.ocx
The system should display "DllRegisterServer in vsocx6.ocx succeeded" - Reboot your computer to complete the registration of these ocx files.
