Question:
When I start the software installation, an error is generated within which the "details" indicate: "DEMO32 caused a general protection fault in module DIBENG.DLL." How do I resolve this error?
Answer:
This error is the result of an incompatible video card driver. On machines with two video cards, one that onboard plus an add-on card, one of the cards is often not setup correctly. Use the "System" area in your Windows Control Panel and go to the Device Manager tab in order to find the source for the issue and resolve it. The problematic video card will show in the Device Manager within the "Display Adapters" area with a yellow caution symbol.
