Please follow these instructions to use the Sample Plan Browser to access the sample plans included with the software:

Open a Sample Plan to modify:
1. Establish your Internet connection.
2. Launch the Business Plan Pro software.
3. On the Start a Plan Screen, choose the "Open the Sample Plan Browser" option and click OK.
4. Once the Sample Plan Browser has opened, click the Tools drop down menu and choose Refresh List.
5. Once the Sample Plan list has been refreshed, select the desired sample plan, and use the File > Open command to open this plan in your software.

Import information from a Sample Plan into your plan:
1. Establish your Internet connection.
2. Launch the Business Plan Pro software and open your existing plan.
3. Once your plan has opened, click the Sample Plan button to launch the Sample Plan Browser.
4. Once the Sample Plan Browser has opened, click the Tools drop down menu and choose Refresh List.
5. Select the plan which you wish to import data from and then choose the File > Import command to launch the Import Wizard. Within this wizard you will need to select the topics or tables which you wish to import data from. Note: Importing data from a topic or a table will replace any text or data which is currently entered into that item in your plan.

The Sample Plan Browser allows you to search and organize plans by similar business types, view plan summaries, print sample plans, copy and paste text from the Sample Plan Browser into your own plan, and open a working copy of a sample plan as a starting point for your own plan in Business Plan Pro.

- A Note of Caution on using Sample Plans -

You do not need a sample plan that matches your business situation as a starting point for your own plan. Business Plan Pro is designed to walk you through the creation of your own, unique plan from start to finish. That is, if you do not find a sample plan that meets your needs, start a new business plan and use the Easy Plan Wizard to complete your own plan. Every business is unique. No sample plan really works for copying without modifications.
