Question:
My business will be generating large numbers. How do I change your cells to only report in thousands and how can I show that is what I am reporting, i.e. (000).
Answer:
It's a good idea to leave the numbers in thousands as you suggest, because ultimately the problem is there is only so much room on the page for zeros, and that is one that Business Plan Pro can't necessarily solve. People dealing with currencies that generate a lot of zeros, like Yen or Lira, are used to this.
To keep you numbers in thousands, all you have to do is specify that in the text, and then stick to it. I know it sounds too simple, but I've done it for years and it is that simple. Type 1,000 for 1 million and 100 for 100,000 and so on, and stick to that throughout (because numbers are linked) and just add the note into the texts associated with the different tables. That takes care of the problem quite well.
