This article describes the steps to take to properly upgrade from Business Plan Pro 2007 to Business Plan Pro 2007 when running in Windows Vista.
Answer:
Take the following steps to run the Upgrade Wizard with elevated privileges in the Windows Vista operating system:
- If you haven't already done so, purchase the upgraded serial number from our Online Store
- Once you have your upgraded serial number, take the following steps to apply the upgrade:
- Close Business Plan Pro 2007 if it is already open.
- Right click on the Business Plan Pro 2007 icon and choose Run as administrator. This will launch the program with elevated administrator privileges for this time only.
- When you reach the Start a Plan screen, click the X in the upper right hand corner of this window to close it.
- Click the Help drop down menu at the top of Business Plan Pro and choose Upgrade.
- The upgrade wizard will launch and then guide you through entering your upgraded serial number into the program.
- Once the Wizard has completed, the program will close and then automatically launch the Premier version of Business Plan Pro
