This error is due to a problem within the Install Shield software, which is a 3rd party application used to install programs within the Windows operating system. To resolve this problem you will need to take the following steps:
- Save the appropriate file below onto the desktop of your computer:
- Business Plan Pro 2006 or Marketing Plan Pro 9.0
IsScript11.zip - Business Plan Pro 2005, Business Plan Pro 2004 or Palo Alto Software's Application Manager
ISScript8.zip - Business Plan Pro 2003, Cash Compass, or Marketing Plan Pro 6.0
ISScript7.zip - Unzip the above file using the WinZip utility (or right click and choose Extract All if using Windows XP).
- After the file has been extracted, double click on the Isscript_.msi file to install the Install Shield Script files. **
- Restart your computer.
- Install your Palo Alto Software program.
**If when installing the IsScript.msi file you encounter the error message of:
"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance. "
